Rainah Miqueli is a poet and burlesque performer known for their sensual and rhythmic exploration of healing and trauma. Diagnosed with a vision disorder that made long-form writing difficult, Rainah turned to poetry as a way to express themselves and began a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance. As an autistic queer person, they bring a unique perspective to their work, weaving together themes of resilience and self-acceptance.
With an MFA from Dublin, Rainah is deeply influenced by the musicality and rhythm of the language there. Through poetry and erotica, Rainah explores the complexities of fatphobia, gender/body phorias, trauma, and intimacy. Writing about fat sensuality has been a particularly empowering experience for Rainah, who has found love and adoration for their own body through their creative work.
Rainah lives in Seattle with their incredible, handsome wife and three cats.
