It’s Monday, and we know for many of you it has been a long week already. We are an independent publisher of poetry and sometimes (at least for this writer/editor) we have doubts about what poetry can do. But then we read your submissions, we read poets old and new. We think of poets like Gregory Orr who remind us the “survival function of story-making…helps us to live.” Remembering the beauty in the world (in art, in each other) is a balm. Get angry at inequity, injustice, but remember the beauty for its the beauty we are fighting for. Read what helps you live. Write what helps you live.
It’s a small thing, we know, but we’d like to offer a “buy 2 get 1 free” deal in order to spread more beauty in the world. Choose three chapbooks of your choice and enter code “BUY2GET1” upon checkout. Get all 3 of our newly released chapbooks or browse some older beauties. Whatever it is that may help you remember that this world has so much worth fighting for. That art, that justice, that equity…that *you* are worth fighting for.
